Payout
Weekly payout on Wednesdays
When do my donations get paid out?
Dashboard > Payout
Donations are paid out weekly on Wednesdays.
All donations received until Monday midnight 24:00 will be processed for payout.
All donations received after Monday midnight 24:00 will be paid out on Wednesday the following week.
In your dashboard under Payout, you can track your payout. As soon as the payment is created, the status of your payment changes from Open to In Progress.
The payment is made before midnight on Wednesday. As soon as the payment has been confirmed, the status changes from In Progress to Paid.
Depending on your bank, the payment will be received within 1 to 3 business days later on the bank account that is linked to your fundraiser. This applies to payments to IBAN bank accounts. Payments to other bank accounts (non-IBAN) may take longer before the money is credited.
Costs are automatically deducted from the amount to be paid and can be viewed 24/7 in your dashboard in the Payout section. You can download an invoice with VAT specification, per payout date, here.
Please note: payment can only take place if a bank account has been added and verified.
Payout during public holidays
Payouts are closed on most national public holidays. We pay out via ABN AMRO bank. Check here for the days when payments are closed. If the weekly payment day (Wednesday) - falls on a bank holiday, payment will be made on the following working day.
Delays in processing donations with some payment methods (credit card, SEPA bank transfer)
Not all payment methods process donations immediately, as is the case with iDEAL or Bancontact, for example.
Credit card
With certain payment options, such as credit card, it may take some time before we actually receive the payment. With credit card payments in particular, this can take up to two weeks.
In the dashboard of your Steunactie account, these donations are displayed under the Payment section with the comment Not yet received. This means that we have not yet physically received the payment.
On the payout day (Wednesday), we check whether the relevant donations have been received. Once this is the case, the status changes to “Pending” and the donation is included in the next payout.
Please note: This check is not continuous (real-time) monitoring, but a snapshot on Wednesday. It is therefore possible that these donations will remain with the status Not yet received during the week, even if the payment is on its way or has been received in the meantime.
SEPA bank transfer
For donations made via SEPA bank transfer, it may take several working days for the amount to appear in our account. Only when we have actually received the payment will the donation be visible in:
- the list of donations on the campaign page;
- the organiser's dashboard under “Payout”.
Determine when you wish to be paid out / pausing your payout
Do you prefer to receive the money all at once at the end of the fundraising campaign? Or at another desired moment?
This is possible by pausing the payout. Go to bank account in your dashboard and turn off Weekly payout. As soon as you want to be paid out again, you can turn this function on again. Payout will then take place on the following Wednesday.
The donations received will accumulate in your Steunactie account and are always visible 24/7 in your dashboard.
Starting your campaign without adding a bankaccount?
You can start your fundraiser without adding a bank account. The donations received will then accumulate in your account and will only be paid out once a bank account has been added and verifiedto your fundraiser.
All donations and your balance are visible online 24/7 in your dashboard.
Will I still be paid out if I do not reach my target amount?
Yes. We always pay out weekly. Setting a target amount and/or reaching a set target amount does not affect the weekly payout.
You can download an invoice for the fees including VAT specification, per payout date, in your dashboard under Payout.
Automatic deduction
Our fee is automatically deducted from incoming donations. So you will never receive an invoice that you have to pay separately.
