Foreign bank account

I want to receive payments to a foreign bank account that is not a SEPA account. How can I get paid?

Dashboard > Bank account

There are 3 types of bank accounts, depending on which country the account is located in:

1. European IBAN & SEPA bank accounts

European IBAN bank accounts (International Bank Account Number) from SEPA countries (Single Euro Payments Area). Most European countries are part of SEPA. For a list of SEPA countries, click here.

You can enter this bank account in your dashboard under Bank account. You only need to enter an IBAN number and the name of the beneficiary and link the account to your fundraiser. Payments are made automatically every week on Tuesdays. See here for more information about payments.

2. IBAN bank accounts outside the SEPA area.

There are countries which are connected to the IBAN system but are not part of the SEPA. For a list of countries that use the IBAN system click here or here.

You can enter this bank account in your dashboard under Bank account and link it to your fundraiser.

However, we still need additional information:

  • name of the recipient/beneficiary
  • bank account number
  • BIC/Swift code of the your bank
  • full address including postal code
  • copy ID (e.g. passport)
  • copy recent bank statement or bank card with clearly your name and bank account number visible

Would you like to be paid out? Please send us a message with this information to [email protected]. Payment will be made manually upon request (time of payment) and after receipt of all necessary information.

Since transferring money to foreign, non-SEPA bank account numbers involves extra costs, we recommend transferring your fundraiser credit in one go after the end of your campaign. But of course the choice is yours. ING is our principal banker; for current costs click here. We transfer money on a BEN basis: the beneficiary (recipient) pays all costs.

We recommend that you do not send us the requested information until you are ready to receive a payout. You can start your campaign without entering a bank account. Donations will accumulate in your account and are visible in your dashboard 24/7.

3. Bank accounts from all other countries (non-IBAN, non-SEPA).

You cannot add these bank accounts in your Dashboard; we must add them manually. Please contact us to do so.

We require the following information:

  • name of the recipient/beneficiary
  • bank account number
  • BIC/Swift code of the your bank
  • full address including postal code
  • copy ID (e.g. passport)
  • copy recent bank statement or bank card with clearly your name and bank account number visible

Payments are made manually upon request (time of disbursement) and after receipt of all necessary information.
